I lived in my mother’s basement.
With my seven-year-old daughter.
On a blow-up mattress.
Need I say more?
I know that I don’t have to because that says more than enough about me, but I’ll continue anyway.
I had recently done a voluntary repossession of my car and I couldn’t afford a cell phone (yes, one of the most basic necessities would be just out of my reach). I made about $200/week (possibly less) and I was not looking for a job. 😳
I’d already been rejected from every job I applied for. I was the epitome of a bum.
But I had a dream in my mind.
You see, I believed I would use that time with my mother to go back to school, get my master’s degree and land a high-paying job.
That was the big vision I had in my head.
In fact, I put $75,000 in big bold green letters on my vision board (so you know I meant business).

By the end of that year, I was the first person in my program to receive an offer for a position making exactly $75,000.

Just three years later, I’ve paid off $42,000 in student loan debt, purchased my first home and am approaching the coveted $100k/year.
And I manifested all of this from my blow-up mattress in my mother’s basement.
In this post, I’m going to show you exactly how I did it.
What is manifesting?
When you manifest, you bring your dreams to life. It’s getting clarity on what you want out of your life, how you want things to change and what ideal looks like for you - and then believe you have everything you need to achieve it.
You can manifest love, money, success - anything you want.
How can you use manifesting for money?
Manifesting money is like manifesting anything else. You set an intention and believe that you can make that intention real.
Create a vision board to manifest money. Set a goal, make a plan outlining what you can do to reach that goal, and then work through the steps that you outlined.
You can manifest money for many different goals, including these:
Paying off debt.
Buying a house.
Money in your savings account.
A higher income.
I’ve tried it before! Why can’t I manifest money?
Often, we believe that manifesting is like magic. Maybe you’ve been struggling, so you created a vision board, hoping to create abundance.
Nothing happened.
Here’s the thing. For manifesting to work, you must truly believe in your heart that you will achieve abundance.
You also have to do the work that leads to abundance, acting as if you know you’ll be successful.
You must become the person that is successful today, and believe success is yours. Once you’ve done that, you’ll begin to manifest money and begin to see the result of your hard work and belief.
How to Manifest Money Fast
Change your mindset
BELEIVE you are worthy of the success that you desire.
It’s easier, and the work is more powerful when you know without a doubt that you can create the success that you want and that you will have that success.
Clarify / visualize your goals
I recommend creating a vision board to visualize exactly what you want to achieve. Spend some time thinking about what your ideal life looks like. Perhaps write some ideas down in a journal.
Take your vision board a step further and think about how you’ll reach your goals.

They do not wait around for something to come to them.

Affirmations can help you to change your mindset when you’re feeling low or give you a boost of energy to move toward your dreams. Some of the affirmations that you might consider include:

There are no limits to the amount of money I can make.

I am financially abundant.

Choose the money goals you want to achieve and how you would achieve them, in an ideal world.
Find money affirmations to inspire you, and guide your manifesting work.
Believe that you are capable of achieving your big dreams because YOU ARE.
The more you focus on and believe in your goals, the easier it is to manifest those goals and make them real.
